Dogs are family and nothing less!
I love love fur babies! I've been around dogs my entire life, from family pups and friends. I've had fish, and a bird growing up and when I was 16, I rescued my first fur baby, she quickly became a part of the family, and she was around for about 11 years until she passed. As for my current fur babes hes been apart of our family for about 5 years as a rescue. I've recently had to put down my old lady and my heart will forever be shattered! She was my soul dog. So now we just have our boy, he's 5 and wild but sweet as can be. I have dog sat for family and friend's dogs from having them in my home or going and letting them out as needed etc. I love all animals, but dogs have always been my favorite, maybe because I can't legally own that monkey I want! To say I spoil fur babies is an understatement, I mean let's be real, I can't walk in my home with Starbucks if I don't have a pup cup in the other hand...they know trust me THEY KNOW. (I will only give your fur baby what you approve!) My older one was on medication daily plus her joint supplements, so I have experience giving medication if necessary and feel comfortable doing so. We love to play, cuddle and get some sun!

We were vacationing in the area, and thanks to Melanie we were able to leave Bria without worry. She and Wrangler kept her occupied so much, that she was exhausted when we picked her up. Melanie was willing to work with our schedule when we went on the Victory Casino Cruise. We will call her again, next time we're in town.
Mel was great, very friendly, and my dog Maze was very comfortable in her home. Her dog Maverick was fun playmate, they hit if off in a few minutes. Having a fenced in back yard for the dogs to run and play safely was a huge plus! We will definitely be rebooking when the need arises. Thanks Mel!
Melanie kept us updated daily on Josie's stay with her which helped us enjoy our vacation. This was her first time with Melanie, and everything went well. We will definitely be using Melanie again.
We were concerned about how our dog (Nash) would get along with Mel's dog (wrangler). In no time the two dogs were big buddies. Mel's son (Oliver) quickly became a part of the dogs overall comfort. Mel sent us updates and photos. We thought that both dogs would not want to go back to their solo routines. Mel and Oliver and wrangler were great companions for our hound. We wouldn't hesitate to have her board Nash again. Great experience.

I've entrusted Melanie to stay with my dog before and she was nothing but kind and caring for Honey. Honey loves when she comes around. As long as I've know Melanie she's owned her own animals as well as cared for others. Her pets are more like her children and when you have someone so compassionate about their pets it makes you feel comfortable leaving your own fur babies in their hands. You would be making a great choice by allowing Melanie to watch over your fur babies!

Schedule
I currently work from home full time. We also are home most weekends with the occasional date night or shopping but we never leave our pups for a long time.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is fenced in, and we do have a larger crate if you prefer your dog to be crated while we are not home. I also always have my phone on me, and I will facetime or send photos as much as you need me to ensure your fur baby is good! I know the fear and anxiety I had having to leave my babies with someone I didn't know, anyone actually, it can be scary but knowing the feeling, I ensure I will provide your pup with all the respect and care they deserve! We do have a 2 year old son who loves doggies but we do teach him saftey and respect to the animals!

A typical day
Your pup will get walks daily, we also have a decent yard fenced in, where our youngest loves to run around, he'll love to have company and will keep your high energy dog going! If cuddles is all your pet wants, then cuddles is what they'll get!
