I’ll be enjoying all my meals, exercise, rest and play on your beloveds’ schedules, as I’m a believer that pets are happiest with a consistent caregiver who can commit to being home with them almost all of the time… minimum 20/24 hours. There’s a first for everything. ☀️ I’m so glad you decided to trot down my Nomadic Nanny path… aka “The Road Less Traveled”. I can furmly shake a paw that you will not regret scratching and sniffing my post… and I double dog dare you to take a chance on me, for your ongoing home and pet TLC needs. I am a 40something-&-1/2 years young non smoker or partier, and am fluently bilingual in baby-talking/singing (I can’t help it). I am bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at the crack of dawn, and am here to squeeze, stretch and serve… all the pets… all the time.

Above all else, I am a woman of integrity, and I form connections through trust, respect and loyalty. I am familiar with dogs’ and cats’ signals for personal space and consent for playing and petting. I am also familiar with recognizing and responding to pets’ anxiety, pain and distress. I make a fantabulous bunk-mate (woofrences say so), and being the A+ decades-long tenant that I am, I will take the utmost care of your property, while keeping boogeymen at bay. Although fur and slobber are more than welcomed as accessories, I’m immaculately tidy… to a fault. Aside from Fluffy or Scruffy begging for Auntie Mélanie to come back for another slumber pawty, you won’t even notice I was there… except for maybe my flipping of the toilet paper roll.

Mélanie was wonderful to work with. She was very punctual and did fantastic with our reactive boy Dallas. She was open and honest and asked great questions to make sure she was fully prepared for our visit. We received frequent updates and photos throughout the visit which eased our anxiety of having someone stay with our boys. She was tidy and clean our house was left in pristine condition when she left. I would recommend her 100 times over and we will definitely be repeat customers!
Melanie was great with Bella. Bella is a shy, older cat and it was nice to see she wasn’t frightened when Melanie visited yesterday. I think they will get along well while Melanie is looking after her in September.
Miko's level of care received by Melanie has left us extremely pleased. She took the time to go through all his information with us to ensure all Miko’s routine remained consistent. Shown in the numerous photos and message updates, Miko and Melanie thoroughly enjoyed their time together! We would love to have Melanie for Miko the next Time we need a sitter!!
WOW! We are so happy we found Mélanie! Mélanie stayed with our Bentley for 3 nights and 4 days, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was so attentive and affectionate with him, took him for his walks, and kept in fantastic contact with us the entire time. We received lots of photos and updates, which we absolutely loved and really helped us relax and enjoy our time away knowing Bentley was happy and being well cared for. Mélanie also took wonderful care of our home, which we really appreciated. But the best part was walking through the door and finding a calm, happy Bentley. ❤️ There is no better feeling than knowing your pet was genuinely comfortable and happy while you were away. We are absolutely thrilled with Mélanie and, needless to say, we’ve already booked her again! Definitely WOW service! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. 🐾❤️
Melanie has come to look after our pets in the past and she did just as great of a job as before. She really takes the time to accommodate to your pets specific needs. We have a senior dog that takes medication/ supplements multiple times a day and she always makes sure that he gets everything correctly and on time. She spends special attention and time on meal preparation as our dog gets lots of fresh fruit and veggies. She also watered our veggie garden and potted plants while we were away! We always come home to a very tidy house with all the laundry done and very happy pets. This time she even bonded more with our cat who isn’t extremely fond of strangers. She sends lots of photos and videos and is VERY communicative. If there are any concerns at all she will let you know immediately so you can work together to figure out a solution. If you’re looking for more than just the average pet sitter, someone who will take good care or your house and give you peace of mind then I highly recommend Melanie!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mélanie was communicative, reliable, and clearly genuinely cared for our dog. We received regular updates and photos throughout the stay, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy pup and a tidy house. We’ll absolutely be booking again and would recommend Mélanie to anyone without hesitation!

I’ve recentlyish embarked on a « soul-bbatical » journey… kinda like Eat, Pray, Love. With “Dogs” and “Freedom” being my top two Love Languages (and with much continued unwavering earnestness), I’ve created space in my life where I gratefully get to incorporate both. You and your Furmily are my Employers, and the safety and wellbeing of your home and precious companion(s) is paramount. I’m entirely mobile… and can often accommodate last-minute/emergency booking requests. With pooch and purr’s help (bragging about me to all their playmates), my ultimate one-woof-and-meow-at-a-time dream is to have you and yours as my lifelong pals. All of my maternal energy goes to animals; therefore, let’s ensure I’m in your babes’ speed dial, and I’ll be at their barking or purring call, round the Rover clock.
