Dog mom w/private yard
I became a dog mom 11 years ago and I'll never go back. I truly enjoy spending the day with dogs! They are such great company. I'm an active person and walk my dog two to three times a day, I also have a private, fenced, backyard your dog can play in with mine. My dog Pippa is 11 years old and 13 lbs of fun and cuddles. She’s very friendly with other dogs and welcomes other dogs coming to visit our home. I do require a meet and greet at my home prior to the first booking. On a personal level, I'm very responsible, resourceful, and knowledgeable about dogs so your dog will be in good hands. I don't take caring for another person's dog lightly as I use the Rover service myself as an owner and know how special the bond is between owner and dog.

Wow! This was our first time using Rover, and I am so grateful that we found Melanie. Our pup was instantly at ease in her home, with her, and with her delightful dog Pippa. Communication was regular and easy, and we got updates and pics (but also not too many). We have already made plans for a return stay. Thank you Melanie!!!!!
Melanie took great care of our dogs! She was easy to communicate with and flexible with booking.
Melanie took wonderful care of Roo for five days. Despite some bladder issues that started at the beginning of his stay and a late-in-the-game stomach issue, Melanie's sweet nature and compassionate care helped reassure me that he was always in good hands. Pippa, her 10-year old pup, is such a sweetie, and excellent company for Roo. Thank you, Melanie and Pippa, from Roo and me!
Melanie was able to watch my dog Sophia on fairly short notice when I had to go out of town. She was flexible and responsive. Sophia had a great time with her dog Pippa and it seemed like she was sad to leave so I know she was in great care.
Melanie and her Pup Pippa took great care of my girl. She was very accommodating and responsive during the scheduling.
Melanie was amazing!! I really appreciated that she asked lots of questions about my two boys because it gives me peace of mind that their doggy sitter will take the best care of them. Which was actually what happened! She sent lots of photos of updates during the stay. Her dog Pippa was also so sweet and got along great with Mr and Captain. We had a change of plans at the end and Melanie was so helpful in accommodating us. Would definitely recommend her to everyone!

Programa
I work from the office 8 minutes walk from my house M-TH, and Fridays from home. Dogs get a short walk in the morning before I leave for work at 9am and a long walk after I’m home from work around 5pm. I also can come home at lunch to let the dogs out during lunch, if necessary.

I have a fenced yard that your dog can play in with mine. Your dog can be in a crate if preferable, mine does not use a crate. I have a camera on my first floor I can view the pets at anytime during the day if I’m not at home.

Walks around Manayunk and Wissahickon park, as the weather permits, and as your dog does or does not prefer. My dog loves to play catch.
