Your pet's new best friend!
I have been taking care of dogs since middle school. Although I have not owned any myself, my roommate has one who I care for frequently. My neighbors and friends have trusted me to pet sit for long weekends/weeks. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them until they wear out, and spoiling them with all of my attention. My siblings have both gotten cats since moving out. I have fallen in love with their unique personalities and their curiosity of the different cat toys I bring for them to play with. Since moving out myself, I have fostered three dogs. It is only a matter of time before I will have a dog of my own, so in the meantime I can devout my time to taking care of others’ dogs!

I am attentive to schedules for food and bathroom needs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks so the more the merrier! I also have a lot of energy that makes for a fun competition to see who gets tired first from playing. One foster dog I had was afraid of stairs; we were able to overcome that fear with a lot of patience and praise.

Melanie was super attentive to our animals and followed our directions. We can highly recommend her and we would definitely rebook with her again.
So so happy to find Melanie for a last-minute business trip! I can’t say enough great things how about how nice it was to be able to relax and focus on work knowing that my dog was so well taken care of. She’s communicative, sweet and just a joy to work with.

Melanie watched our very active lab at our home for 5 days. She communicated daily and matched his energy with long walks and active playtime. She was conscientious and made us feel so comfortable while we were away. HIGHLY recommend!
Melanie is the best!!! My dog is high energy and she is able to keep up with her, and sometimes wear her out! She is the fun aunt (who is also responsible) that every dog wants to be around.

Schedule
I work until 2pm on weekdays. I am able to feed/walk pets for up to an hour during my work hours, and anytime after 2pm during the week. I am available full time on weekends.
