We love dogs!
I lost my dog of 14 years last year. I am hoping to help others with their dogs to help fill that void for myself. It will also give me time to decide if I want to start over! I host only one dog at a time, so your pup will get lots of cuddles and love and attention!

Melanie and her family are so fantastic with our dog, Fennel. He has stayed in her home twice and both times came home happy and was clearly well loved and well cared for. Melanie is great with communication and sending update photos that clearly show he is having such a good time at Camp Melanie. I would recommend her home without hesitation to anyone I know. Fennel has separation anxiety (and so do I) so going away without him can be hard to do but finding a place that he is comfortable and genuinely seems happy to be boarded has been so wonderful and we feel so lucky to have Melanie’s home as an option for Fennel to have a fun vacation of his own when we go away.
Melanie did really well with our shy dog! She sent lots of updates and is great with communication. We’ll definitely book with her again in future.
Wyatt loved staying with Melanie and I loved getting the pictures of him!!!

Schedule
I work 3 days a week. Obviously if I am not at work I’ll be home a lot. If I am at work and the kids have school your dog would be home alone but would be let out every 2-3 hours. I work next to my house!

I have a fenced yard and a very pet friendly home. Dogs are allowed on couches and bed if the owner is okay with it.
A typical day
I love to walk dogs and can throw the ball for them in my backyard. I’m happy to do short walks or long walks and multiple walks if needed and I’m home from work.
