I love all pets & like high energy!
I will pay full attention to your dog. I will also watch cats, whether that is alone or with a dog present. I am very friendly, patient, and energetic. I have a fascination and respect for all animals. I will follow any specific instructions I am provided about your dog, I know they are all unique. I do have cats, they will never be in the same area as your dog. If your dog is an indoor dog I will keep them inside. I am frequent on bathroom breaks, and you can always ask me for updates and photos on your pup! I can also send updates and photos on your cat. I am willing to work with mostly any animal and am able to work with any unique quirks or personality traits your animal may have as long as you let me know how I need To act to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I also worked at a veterinary clinic for a while and was very hands on with the pets there even though I worked as the receptionist. I’ve had animals all my life.

Melanie did great! Xena is a very shy kitty who usually runs and hides from strangers. But, she allowed Melanie to pet her. That had not happened with any other pet sitter. She also rescued our deliveries from the rain. I would use her services again.

melanie has always been good with and loves everyone’s pets. She has always been responsible for our own pet family and would be a great asset to anyone who needs someone who is kind and respectful to them and their animals.
Melanie is very enthusiastic and attentive caretaker. She watched my dog Samuel for a weekend in my house and did a great job, she sent me updates on my dog when I messaged her for check ins. My dog does not always take well to people as he is a shy Jack Russell Terrier, but she was patient with him. She frequently watches my cats Arthuer and Maybell when I am away, and they like her as well! I would recommend her for anyone who wants a kind pet sitter.
Melanie is a very responsible girl. She was very helpful with my young dog and very loving. Being able to rely on her to help my dog get the exercise he needs is very helpful and very appreciated.

Schedule
I am available most week days and Friday. I am also available Monday after 3! Any other days are negotiable based on what you need and what I am able to provide.

Safety, trust & environment
I have fenced in part of the yard and also about a half an acre of open land where I can let your pet run while I watch them. I am also comfortable with animals that just want to hang out and watch tv.

We will walk around my neighborhood or stick to my property. I can provide treats and if there’s some sort of specific activity your dog or cat likes, you can let me know.
