Hi, I’m Melanie! I grew up caring for dogs and have continued building hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. In college, I became a sitter for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where I helped care for and support the training and daily routine of a guide dog in training. More recently, I’ve provided independent pet-sitting care for multiple dogs at once. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, exercise, senior-dog care, oral medication, and keeping pets on their normal routines while their owners are away.

I’m attentive, dependable, and careful to follow each owner’s instructions closely because I know every pet has their own routine and personality. I make an effort to give each pet individual attention, keep them active and comfortable, and provide updates so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. I also take seriously the trust involved in caring for pets in someone else’s home. I’m respectful of clients’ spaces, follow household instructions, and leave things as I found them. For everyone’s safety, all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations/flea & tick treatment.
