I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, maintain their normal routine, and make sure doors, gates, leashes, and feeding areas are secure. For pets staying in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where they can settle in at their own pace. I keep a close eye on their safety, follow their usual feeding and medication schedule, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, rest, and affection. I never force interaction and am especially patient with pets who are shy, anxious, or adjusting to a new environment. I’ll also provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for.

A typical day will be shaped around your pet’s normal routine and personality. For dogs, that may include walks, playtime, sniffing around outside, cuddle breaks, and plenty of one-on-one attention. For cats, I’ll make time for interactive play, gentle companionship, window watching, and quiet space when they want it. I also make sure pets have time to rest, feel comfortable, and enjoy a calm environment without being overstimulated.

melanie has a good way of connecting with dogs. I have an australian shepard that really hates everyone. he’s always so on guard and growls at everyone. the first time she came over he loved her and didn’t growl or bark at her once. which is very rare he growls at everyone.
