I have had experience pet sittings dogs and cats with a variety of needs: from medication, injuries, anxiety, and destructive patterns/behavior. I am an active person and would love to take your dog(s) on walks, swims and adventures (with your consent of course).

Initially, I like to check in with the owner to determine what actions and environments their pets thrive in. Whether it's treats, pets, affections, play time, walks, etc, it's important to ensure my intentions are appropriate. Typically, a meet and greet is set up to establish expectations. I believe consistent communication including photos, phone calls, texts, and or emails is necessary to ensure you feel connected to your pets while you're away. The level and form of communication will be established prior to your departure and can be fluid based on your comfort level. I want to ensure you feel at ease while I am watching your animals and home.

Melanie was everything I could hope for in a pet sitter! She was timely and followed all instructions, but more than that, her descriptions of the visits showed how much she paid attention to each of my pets and what they needed, like extra snuggles. It was also super easy to communicate with her, and she passed along anything we might need to know while we were gone. I will definitely book her again!

Schedule
I recently moved to Grand Junction to work as a hydrologist. Previously pet setting was my full time job. I work Monday through Friday but I can incorporate walks, feedings, potty breaks, etc when necessary. We can arrange a schedule that suits both you and your pets needs.
