Your Pets “Home Away From Home”
I am a Private Investigator by trade and have managed an agency for years from home. However, my passion has always been dogs. I have 3 small dogs of my own, which are all rescue dogs. I have had 2 of them for 10 years (senior dogs now) and they are all like our children. I have always been an animal lover and my home has always been the go to place for friends and family in need of a pet sitter. I am very compassionate about pets being talked to, petted and feeling loved. They have feelings too! I have never kept any of my animals caged and they have free roam of our home and fenced back yard. I have a doggie door that leads to our secure backyard and visitor dogs have always seemed to pick up on this quite quickly. I treat anyone else’s dog with the same love and respect as I would my own. I have a safe, friendly family environment that any dog would love visiting! I have spent time volunteering at an animal shelter and the humane society. I understand that they all have special needs to feel comfortable when in a different environment.

Absolute blessing! Melanie was able to watch my pups last minute and accommodate me when I had an emergency requiring extended care. I’m so happy that I found her. The dogs really like their environment there and she keeps me updated with pictures and videos. I’ve used Rover in the past but she, by far, is the best!!!!

Chestnut had a wonderful time with Ms.Melanie and Mr.Chris while I was away for a week. They were very accommodating with the day care schedule, willingly keeping her for extra couple hours in the evening. Ms.Melanie kept us posted throughout the day and sent us lots of pictures of our baby girl. Chestnut seemed to emotionally attached to Mr.Chris, as I saw her nestling in Mr.Chris's arms everyday. They even used Chestnut's Korean name which Chestnut usually responds to, so she feels more comfortable and settles well in the new place. We are grateful for getting to know Ms.Melanie's family and making American connection through Chestnut. They are the family of genuine love towards pets. I highly recommend them if you are looking for pet-loving, friendly, responsive, flexible, and reliable family in the area.👍👍
Our pup had the best time with Melanie and Chris! We received multiple photos and updates during his stay at their home. You could tell our pup felt immediately at home and cared for. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!
Melanie and Chris really saved us! Papito and I traveled from Reno to stay with family in GA for a few days where we would drive down to Florida. My dog doesn’t do well at the beach, so I arranged a sitter who backed out literally last minute. As I was on my way to drop him off and leave for the beach. I was able to drop him off with a friend while I figured something out. Within an hour or so of booking Chris was en route to pick up my boy! I never worried about him for a second, they don’t crate their own dogs nor their guests! I was in a huge bind and will always be grateful for their willingness and excitement to help us out and take excellent care of my boy. 10/10 will use them again if we ever need a sitter while we are visiting our family in the area!
