Melanie is a responsible, experienced, active dog sitter! You couldn't find someone better to leave your pup with. With her dog walking and training experience, you know your dog will come home tired, and with no new behaviour issues! (And maybe even better behaved than before!) With a pup at home, your dog will always have a friend to play with!

Schedule
Pet care is fully woven into my daily life. I structure my day around the dogs, from morning walks and enrichment activities to playtime, rest, and evening snuggles.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, supervised, and loving home environment where pets are treated like family. I use positive reinforcement, maintain routines, and ensure dogs feel secure, respected, and comfortable. I have experience working with dogs that have special behavioural or health needs. This includes dogs who are on a medication schedule, have epilepsy or other health concerns. I have worked with many dogs who need extra care and time to get comfortable with new people, dogs and environments at their own pace.

A typical day
A typical day includes a morning potty break and walk, structured play, enrichment games, cozy downtime, and plenty of snuggles. I balance exercise, stimulation, and relaxation for happy pups.
