I have enjoyed pet sitting for family and friends animals for over 15 years now. Each pet I treat like they were my own and give them all the love they need while their humans are away. I do have a slight allergy to cats. However I still love them and are able to look after them as well if there are cats in the home with other animals. I am open to taking care of all types of animals as well!

I always meet the pet at their house before their humans go away. That way they can meet me if they don’t know me and I can learn their daily routine so that their schedule doesn’t change

Melanie is the BEST! You can tell she is really a dog person and my fur babies LOVED her. My dogs can be really needy with attention and cuddles, and Melanie was happy to oblige. I felt so comfortable with them in her care. She was kind, responsive, and respectful. I will definitely be hiring her again!
Melanie was outstanding with Waldo, building instant rapport and handling his daily routine for more than two weeks. Daily pictures and contact made being away more tolerable. We came back to our home and dog as if we’d just left the day before. We would highly recommend Melanie as a dog and house sitter without reservation.

Melanie was great with our dog Bru! She stayed at our home for a week and took care of our lab Bru. Bru was well taken care of and loved his time with Melanie! We didn’t have to worry at all while on our vacation as she is very dependable, trustworthy and a great person. I recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pet!
I used Melanie to watch my black lab for a few days while I was away. She did not disappoint! I got updated pictures of their daily activities, including a day at the beach. For a black lab that’s a day in heaven! Getting updated pictures is very comforting as a dog parent. Not only knowing that your pet is safe but that they were having fun. I would highly recommend Melanie for your pets needs.

Schedule
I’m currently working at a school Monday-Friday 7:30am-2:45pm. Any day after work I would be available for walks or play time, if extended care is needed and pets are not able to be home alone for that long I can try to make accommodations with work
