Melanie's Dog care
I have loved dogs all my life and grew up with various breeds including a Labrador, Border Collie, Grey Hound, Lurcher, Springer Spaniel and whippets. Since I started walking and boarding dogs for other people, 8 years ago, I have looked after many other breeds though, from Bichon Frise and Chihauhau to Alsation and Bernese Mountain Dog and I think all breeds have their own wonderful special qualities... I love Staffies for instance and know how soft and loving they are, despite their reputation. Each dog has their own needs, habits and physical limitations so I tailor walks according to that particular dog's limitations (be it a high-powered walk covering lots of ground, lots of ball play or a very slow meander close to home) therefore I don't do pack walks (I will take a maximum of 4 dogs out together but only if they are from the same household or their needs are fully compatible). So if for whatever reason you are unable to take your furry best friend out as much as you would like to or you just need someone to dog sit or walk them while you are away or at work, please get in touch!

This was Bella’s first time staying away. Melanie was brilliant. Very friendly home and by the seaside. I will definitely use Melanie again in the future.
Buddy can’t get out of the car quick enough when we pull up outside, he loves his holidays with Melanie. Melanie does also take the time to provide lots of photos and updates - feel totally relaxed when he’s staying over.
Eric had a fabulous time at Mel’s beautiful home! He was spoilt rotten with walks, cuddles, blankets and new friends! Can’t wait to book again!
Melanie looked after our dog Ron for a day and she was wonderful! Plenty of activity and fun for Ron and lots of photos of their adventures during the day. We definitely recommend Melanie to anyone else in the area and hope to book Ron in again soon!
Highly recommend Melanie she's fantastic. Our girl was so happy there, treated as one of the family, loads of activity and stimulation as well as love and cuddles. Melanie sent great pictures and kept us updated throughout her stay. We will definitely become a regular customer ?
Melanie is really wonderful, we are so lucky to have found her. My dog can be a bit anxious and get a bit upset when I leave him with a new person for the first time but the moment he met Melanie has was happy as anything, didnt give me a second glance, he had a wonderful time with her, she was so good with him. Melanie is obviously very experienced and professional. Bugsy is really looking forward to spending time with Melanie again.

Schedule
I am a full-time dog walker and offer walking and daycare services Monday to Friday. I will however take doggy boarders over weekends of course.

I care for dogs in my own home, as if they were my own. I will keep them with me, play with them and also offer lots of love and cuddles.
A typical day
I will look after your dog's physical and mental needs; offering games and plenty of stimulation out on a walk. If however a dog is not as mobile as he or she once was, then they can take as long as they like to sniff and take rest breaks if need be.
Prices include all fees.
