I currently work 4 days a week at a spa, on my off days I will of course be available all day to sit. And on the days I work I normally let them out before work, during lunch, and of course after work. Usually I am also house sitting as well so I am there at nights and in the mornings with them.

Right now I am unavailable to take pets to my house, I am more than happy to house sit and pet sit in my clients home. I think it makes it more comfortable for the pet as well. I am willing to take care of your pets in any way I can. If I need to learn something new, I am very happy to learn annd help out as best I can!

If your dog or cat has medication it needs I would just love a heads up so I can make a schedule so I can keep track. My favorite dogs to care for are big elderly dogs because my own dog is big and old. But I do love all kinds of dogs and cats.
A typical day
Of course depending on your pets personal likes and dislikes, I will gladly take them for walks and play with them, and I live near a dog park that is brand new so I would love to take a pup to check that out!

Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting since I was in middle school for people in our neighborhood. I also attended a small Christian school in Ohio and would babysit and dog sit for lots of people in that community as well as volunteering at the local humane society. My family has a Doberman who is now 11 years old. While I don’t live at home anymore, I visit him and watch him often. With him being a senior dog, I like to think I am well experienced and more than happy to take care of sweet old animals who might have trouble getting around. My boyfriend and I have been pet sitting and house sitting for a few of our friends for years now, and I just love it! I just want to give animals all my loving!

Melanie is a wonderful pet sitter! She sent me pictures throughout her stay and kept in touch with any questions she had. I have two Dobermans, and they loved her immediately! I would 100% have her pet sit for me again!
Melanie would be great at pet sitting for your dog(s). Her favorite family member is her own dog, Ammo, who happens to be a 100+ lb doberman. And Ammo loves her just as much, too!. Melanie also has many years of experience with animals from previous volunteer work at our local Humane Society and dog/cat sitting for many families in our neighborhood. Melanie is happiest when she is with any furry friends.
