I’ve been caring for & training animals - from dogs & kittens to ducks & horses - since I was 10 years old. I’ve always had a soft spot for my furry-friends and think they deserve to be treated with respect and cared for in an engaging way. I’m an active mom of two amazing dogs (a Bernese Mountain Dog & Anatolian-Lab Mix) two tabby cats, and 2 humans! ;) I’m very reliable, nurturing, active, and look forward to caring for your dogs or cats as if they were my own. Experience includes: leash training, potty training, feeding, raising puppies, administering medication, and scratching that hard to reach place behind the ears. ;)

Melanie and family were great! So grateful they provide this service. Luna had a great day with them.
Our dog Ginger had the best time with Melanie and her family. She sent us pictures every day and updated us on how Ginger was doing. I would highly recommend Melanie.
Melanie is the best! We have used 1 other pet sitter in the past (not from Rover) and had the worst experience, so I was hesitant to go the pet sitter route for our recent trip. I found Melanie and read her Bio and she sounded like a perfect fit for my cats. I met with Melanie prior to our trip to introduce her to our cats and to explain their feeding schedule and what not. Melanie messaged me with daily reports and photos and answered any messages I sent her way. The best part about Melanie is she was able to befriend Kitty (my oldest cat) who does not like many people. I will definitely reach out to Melanie again when I need a pet sitter and I’ll also be recommending her to everyone!

I’m a stay at home mom, but with my kids in school full-time, I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your pets! I’m very flexible, extremely reliable, and am available almost any day of the week.

I have a very large fenced yard and two well-trained, friendly (large) pups of my own. I’m happy to keep your pet crated or separated from my animals if you’d like! I’m able to walk your dog(s) daily, and we have indoor shelter for night time sleep. I have two kids (5 & 9) who are more than happy to give your pet some extra love. The kids are VERY good with animals and know how to treat them with kindness, gentleness, and respect. We do have 2 cats who “rule the roost” so your dog should be OK with other dogs, cats, or children. I’m also happy to visit YOUR home to care for your pets in their own, comfortable environment if you’d prefer.

With me, your dog will enjoy going for walks, playing fetch or frisbee, receiving lots of petting and scratches, taking a trip to the park, sun-bathing or napping in the shade, healthy dog treats (owner-permitting), and affection from a family of dog-lovers!
