I have a hybrid part-time work schedule, with weekends off. I have 3 kids (ages 13-18) that love to help too (with supervision, of course).

Overnight guests - Dogs must be able to sleep through the entire night in their individual crate/kennel. No dogs are allowed to sleep in my bedroom. We have a good size fenced yard with grass. There are stairs from the house to yard, so they will need to be ok with stairs. Our lab (Buddy) is very friendly and loves to play. He has played with small dogs and dogs his own size at our home. He has food allergies, so we are careful about feeding.

A typical day
We are pretty low key and like to hang out at home, in the backyard, and go on walks around the neighborhood. I like to send photos and updates about how things are going and what we're up to.

We have an 10-year-old labrador. FYI - He does bark loudly when people come to the door, but he really might be one of the most friendly dogs you've met. I have also taken care of neighbor and family's dogs previous to Rover.

Our Lucy (8 y/o doodle) loved Melanie and her pup and her family! Communication was great, and it was also nice to know our pup was in such a kind, family home with a friendly dog to play with, too! Our dog absolutley loved it and we will use Melanie in the future. Thanks to her whole family for the love and care they gave our Lucy!
Melanie and her family were a perfect fit for my dog. He was well taken care of and felt right at home at her place. Communication with Melanie was easy and very timely. I would hands down recommend and take my dog back.
