I’ve had dogs on and off my entire life. For the last 12 years our family has rescued/adopted 13 dogs. We currently have 7 dogs. I have kept family and friends' dogs while they vacation as well as done drop ins at their home for walks, feeding and cuddling. I have also taken care of goats and chickens. I will treat your pets how I would want someone to treat mine. I am comfortable around all size and breeds of dogs and cats as well as goats and chickens.

I have 5 acres which about 1/2 acre is fenced in with 6-foot fencing. I can snuggle your dog on the couch or crate them if they feel more comfortable like that. I have my own personal dogs but keep them separate from other people's pets. If you leave directions of what your pets routine in your home is like I can provide for them in that manner.

Melanie was a great help with our two cats while we were away! She took lots of pictures and gave a report for each drop in visit. Everything was perfect when we came back and the cats were well looked after.

Melanie was fantastic taking care of my cat, Jimmy. I went out of state for Christmas and had her come twice a day for a week to feed him and clean his litter box. She sent me pics, videos and notes the whole time which was comforting since I had never left him for more than 2 days before this trip. She even took my trash and cleaned out the sink of his bowls. I can definitely recommend Melanie!
Melanie is a true gem. We were nervous about using Rover since our neighbor who usually feeds our cats, had an emergency come up. She went above and beyond and loved on our furbabies and spent time with them...Sent pics (even of outdoor critters) and daily updates. We will definitely use her again. She is a joy to talk to and loves all animals. 😊❤️

Schedule
I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule. I am available almost any time, including nights and weekends. Most schedules can be accommodated.

- I would need to know the things your dog or cat likes or doesn't like. How often they are fed and watered, how often they typically like to go outside, if they are ok on a leash and will they come back to me in a fenced yard if off leash. I will also need to know if your pets get along with each other. They don't need to like other dogs, my own dogs will be kept separate from your pets.
