Playful, Kid-Friendly Pooch Getaway
My husband, Greg, and I each have more than 20 years of experience caring for our own dogs as well as family and friends' pups. We are currently a pet free house and, with help from our 9 and 11-year-old children, would love to entertain your fur baby! All proceeds go towards our kids' savings accounts. We are at home or pet-friendly parks for ~95 percent of the weekend and your dog would be a welcome participant in all of our adventures. Your pup will need to be able to navigate steps up to our front door as well as up to the second floor if he/she wants to sleep in a bedroom. We have a fenced in back yard, great neighborhood streets with lots of smells (and other dogs), and are within driving distance of multiple dog parks. BYO dog bed or crate, as desired/needed.

Super nice family with great communication from beginning to end. Very understanding with flexible times of drop off or pick up. Covey felt perfectly at home and we knew that when we saw pictures of him lounging on the family’s couch! It was a great experience for us to know he was in good hands and getting affection and attention to his care as if he was there own dog.
Melanie and Greg were very responsive and have wonderful children that are loving and respectful of animals. I knew my mini golden doodle was having the time of his life getting cuddles and belly rubs. Would definitely have my pup stay with them again.
Melanie, Greg, and their family were very kind, patient, and communicative about Phoebe during her first overnight stay away from home. We would definitely book them again!
Greg and Melanie’s family were incredible care takers for our older dog. Their children were really helpful making our dog feel welcome when we arrived. We would look for them to watch our dog again in the future.
Kibble loved his time with Melanie, Greg, and family! He came home happy and exhausted!

Schedule
We are generally up by 6am and asleep by 10pm. We will take care of your pup as if he/she was part of our family! Multiple walks daily and lots of snuggles with the kids. We typically only pet sit over long weekends (Thursday to Monday) and on days when we are scheduled to telework or take annual leave.

A typical day
Walks around Del Ray, playing in our fenced in back yard, snuggles in the living room, and much, much more. Your pup will go home very tired:)
