Welcome All Size Dogs!
I love all breeds and sizes of pets, but really love the bigger breeds. I work from home all day and I have a small first floor apartment near the beach. I have a massive fenced backyard for pups to play in all day long! I have my own retired racing Greyhound, Fred, who will be home for all overnight boarders but stays at home for check in or daily walks at your house. He would come with me for house sitting overnights. Fred mainly keeps to himself, is completely house trained and truly a silent companion.

I have a huge fenced in backyard and if you bring your own crate, we have space for it in my apartment. I allow pets on the couch, but not my bed. I'm used to giving medications to pets, my own dog takes oral medication every morning and eats breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.

Melanie watched my 3 year old 150 lbs Great Dane for me over the weekend. She was so kind and communicative and was able to help out last minute, so that I could go away and enjoy a wedding stress free knowing that he was in good hands. I will definitely be booking her again and recommend her!

I loved Melanie’s fenced in backyard for Harper’s stay. She was flexible when our return flight was delayed.
Melanie was wonderful and so accommodating of our perhaps unusual need to drop off our dog very early and pick him up very late same day. She took him on a walk and even shared some of her dog's treats with him when (I'm sure!) he gave her the 'begging puppy eyes'! Highly recommend Melanie!
She was super nice and Zoe had a lot of fun staying there. I’ll definitely use her again.
Melanie was amazing ! It was our first time leaving our pup alone and she made us feel so at ease. She took the time to come meet him before and sent us pictures and update throughout her visit! So thankful for her help and care, definitely will be asking for her help again soon!

Schedule
I'm up before 8am for walks and breakfast with my own pet - work from home all day - lunch time walks possible - off work at 630 pm for walks and dinner. I am a social person and have plans after work 1-2 days a week. On the weekends, usually home in the AM with a social activity later in the day.

- I would want to know if you pet has any special needs for food or treats and what is he most interested when out on a walk. Are they reactive to other dogs, stray cats or squirrels? I would want to know what to pay attention to during my time with them to make sure we all have a great time! I would also like to know if your pet will get into anything while he is left alone. Do they dig in the garbage for something that smells good or drink out of the toilet if the seat is left open. Would they eat socks or especially love to chew on shoes, clothes or rip to shreds toys left out.
