Pet care experience

Certified & Experienced Caregiver

Hey there! I am a Professional Certified Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessment) specializing in positive reinforcement methods. I have experience with a variety of behaviors and breeds through previous dog walking, fostering, shelter dog training, and private dog training. My own rescue pittie came with very intense reactivity which we were able to work on extensively, so I’m more than happy to extend my services to pets with potentially difficult behavior needs. I intend to treat each pet as though they were my own and ensure they are safe and that we have a blast together! Can’t wait to meet your pup and please reach out with any questions!

Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog

Safety, trust & environment

I have access to a yard that is not fenced in, but provides quick and convenient leashed potty breaks and lots of nature watching either on the deck or roaming supervised on a long leash in the grass. I constantly have my head on a swivel due to my training so I am ready for any unexpected events. I am skilled with crate and other preventative/maintenance method training. Flexible to meet whatever special needs your pet has while in my care.

Pets

A typical day

Days here are all about making your pet feel right at home! We keep stress low by matching their usual schedule for feeding, outdoor breaks, and rest. When it comes to fun, I prefer activities that get their brain working just as much as their paws. Sniffaris around the neighborhood where they get to lead the way with their nose. Scent games and treat puzzles to keep curious minds busy. Cozy downtime with plenty of affection and zero rush. Whether your pet is a high-energy explorer or a dedicated couch potato, we adjust the pace so they stay happy, relaxed, and safe.

Before we get started, I like to understand the complete picture of your pet’s needs so we can set them up for success! Please feel free to share details about: Medical Needs: Medications, allergies, or physical restrictions. Walk & Leash Dynamics: Reactivity to other dogs, prey drive, or harness preferences. Home Cues: Phrases, cues, or management rules you use daily to keep things predictable for them. Temperament & Stress Triggers: Anything that makes them nervous (e.g., thunderstorms, doorbells, handling paws) and what helps them relax. The more details you share—no matter how small—the better I can tailor our time together!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
