I've taken care of dogs (of various breeds) since I was in middle school. I have done short-term and long-term care both out of my house or going over to the owner's house. I am a very calm and reassuring person and have worked with both young and elder dogs.

Ms Melanie was very friendly and helpful with my baby Braxton. Braxton and I both had separation anxiety, he wouldn’t eat and she got him to eat peanut butter and for me she sent pictures. Definitely will book with her again
melanie was amazing :) with this being our first time leaving our benji with a sitter she was so kind to answer all our questions she was patient and sent us updates along with pictures which was very comforting to know benji was in good hands . she’s the best !!
She took wonderful care of our dog while we were on an extended vacation overseas.

Schedule
I am a recent graduate who is currently applying to post-graduate programs and jobs, so I have great flexibility in my schedule when I am not helping my grandmother with errands or volunteering at Greendale Elementary (on Tuesday and Thursday mornings). I can do any weekday besides Wednesday afternoons. I can do most times on the weekends unless I have a prior engagement planned. I can do Christmas/Winter Break, but I will be away for Thanksgiving this year.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in yard and have plenty of room for housing your pet as there are no other pets in the house currently. The neighborhood is very safe and has walking paths for walking pets. I am also happy to drop in or stay at your home if that is more comfortable for your pet (or you)!
A typical day
I love to go for walks and let your pet play in the backyard to get out energy. We have some toys which are appropriate for dogs here and I am more than happy to play with them with any of their favorite toys as well. Beyond this, I am open to incorporating your dog's daily routine and activity preferences.
