I'm currently in school, so I'll have plenty of time to care for your pups. I'm available weekdays. Weekends are usually open. Mondays- Anytime Tuesdays- Before 10am and After 5pm Wednesdays- Before 1:30pm and After 5pm Thursdays- before 10am and After 2pm Fridays- Before 10am and After 5pm (This will change middle of May 2026)

Important information for me is if a dog is aggressive (toys, food) if they jump or if it is reactive (people, animals, cars etc). When it comes to cats, I would prefer to know if they are more to themselves (will they hiss or claw) or if they are welcoming. These are all for my safety and the pets safety.
A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation is very important for pups. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in your neighborhood, and explore a big park or mountain near by.

Hello, my name is Melanie! I recently quit my job to focus on school and am looking to get back into pet care! I've grown up with a bunch of pets from dogs, and cats to more exotic animals like reptiles, ferrets, and birds. I've also worked at a pet store for 5 years, as well as my fair share of family and friends pet sitter. I currently go to school full time, and spend the rest of the time studying with my pets! In our house we have a schedule and take turns when it comes to feedings, bathroom needs, and everything in between! Personally, I own one dog myself, Kira and she likes to spend all of her time outdoors, and is a snuggle bug. Kira also eats a very specific diet as she has allergies and takes supplements. I live in a house everyone is extremely welcoming to all pets and offers a vast fenced space for playing, although I prefer to not host, pets myself. I also have training experience and focus on positive reinforcement and leash training!

Melanie handled the booking efficiently and arrived on time. My dogs, including my finicky husky, quickly took to her. She exudes a calm energy, and we would definitely book her again.
Melanie is wonderful. She takes great care of my dog, and he's always happy to see her. She is responsible, leaves my house clean when she stays there, and brings treats for the pup. Love her!
Melanie has been an amazing caregiver for us. We have 3 dogs, 4 cats, and ferrets. She is super caring and very responsible. The pets really listen to her and enjoy her company too. She's great at belly rubs and long walks and makes sure everyone has what they need. We are thrilled to have her help when we are away for long periods or just for daytime drop ins. She does walking, feeding, and companionship for our animals. She's also very careful to be respectful of our home and leave it as she found it. She listens to our instructions too as we feed different things to each of our dogs. Overall, super happy to have her available to us when needed. Highly recommend.
