Thanks so much for giving my family the opportunity to be the “home away from home” for your precious pets! I am married with a 19 year old animal loving son (who pops in occasionally from college) and a husband that is in the medical field which is an added measure for health safety when dogs are staying at our home. We share our home with our two female Dachshunds that live for car rides. I am an active volunteer with the National Great Pyrenees Rescue and foster Great Pyrenees rescues so I am used to all types of behaviors/personalities with different dogs and helping them to all get along together under one roof, even if just temporarily. I have plenty of experience as well as good instincts and judgement where dogs are concerned; thanks to so many years of rescue work and a lifetime of having dogs in my home. I live in south Bossier in a small and quiet gated subdivision. I have 6 foot vinyl fencing around my backyard which provides a safe area for visiting dogs to be able to run around and play. We also have a small doggie door. My family does everything possible to make sure that every dog that comes to our home is comfortable and as happy as can be. They will get the run of the house and can lay/sleep anywhere that they want... just like our own dogs. We have plenty of toys, chews, and treats for our visiting dogs. At my house, we work together as a family to take the best care of your dogs because we know how much they mean to you- just like our dogs mean to us: they are our world! My husband is in the medical field so he is able to assist with any special needs that a visiting dog may have.

Fabulous experience...could not be better. Melanie sincerely cares about the dogs in her care. She is intuitive and understands the dog breeds’ characteristics. Great communication; she shared stories about my dog. I got lots of photos too.
All I can say is OMG the love that our fur baby received today in Mrs Melanie care today was over the top! This was our first time using her and our fur baby first time being around other fur babies and all I can say is we where blessed to find her, she’s so amazing and so lovable Thor had a blast her home will be a second home for our baby boy! He took to her and her family so well! She’s the best 🫶🏾
Melanie is so nice and I could tell Bentley was happy and well cared for
We left our little guy there for a full week and never had a doubt. We received updates and pictures throughout the stay and could tell he was comfortable and happy.
She was very informative and keep me updated with Sadie, I was able to book last min with her. She was very flexible and kind. Totally would recommend her to anyone looking and id come back again.

I am a stay-at-home mom to a teenage son which means I have a very flexible schedule and I am home with dogs most of the day.

Safety is always my main priority when I am with your dogs. Whether your dog is staying at my house or I am doing drop-in visits at your house, I am focused on their safety.

A typical day
We have a small and safe subdivision with sidewalks so it is a great area to walk dogs. Our Dachshunds love to chase leaves and look for non-existent squirrels in our backyard. Visiting dogs really like hanging with them and being part of the “pack”. They also get plenty of snuggle time if they want and we always have plenty of dog treats and toys as well!
