Hi, I’m Melanie Monji, best known as Mo! With over 15 years of experience in pet care, I bring a deep love and commitment to every furry friend I meet. My background is rooted in child care and youth development, but I discovered my passion for dog sitting when a family I nannied for welcomed a new, fluffy addition to their home. From that moment on, I was hooked. I’m comfortable caring for multiple dogs at once and am happy to assist with potty training and basic behavioral support. I genuinely believe that helping both people and animals is my calling. As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors—whether walking, hiking, or biking—I love incorporating active play and exercise into my care routines. I’m highly adaptable to the unique needs and preferences of each dog and their owner. Just as a parent should feel completely at ease leaving their child in good hands, you can trust that your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for with me.

The pets were left in great condition. Communication was great and I got lots of pictures and videos. The house could have been left in better condition for sure :(
We were very disappointed. She arrived 3 hours late, left them unattended for over 6 hours and then left them while they were eating. A very unprofessional and upsetting experience.
Our two dogs and two cats enjoyed being with Melanie and she provided plently of pictures and feedback.
Melanie was wonderful with our Pedro. We are so thankful. Hope we can do this again! Pedro seemed happy and secure.

A typical day
When I’m spending time with pets, I love making our days both fun and enriching. I enjoy taking dogs on nature walks or hikes where they can explore new scents and surroundings, or going on what I call “sniffaris,” letting them lead the way and soak in all the smells around them. I also incorporate brain games and puzzle toys to keep their minds active, and I’m a big fan of teaching fun tricks like “spin” or “high five.” For high-energy pups, I’ll go for jogs or slow bike rides so they can burn off steam in a safe and exciting way. On warmer days, we might splash around in sprinklers or a kiddie pool for some water play. I’ve even set up mini obstacle courses in the yard for a little agility fun. Sometimes we just vibe—playing music and having a little doggy dance party. I also love playing hide-and-seek with treats or toys to engage their natural instincts. Whether it’s a quiet pup picnic in the park or a social playdate with another dog, I make sure each activity is tailored to what makes that specific pet happy, comfortable, and cared for.
