Senior/Aggressive/Shy/Anxious Pets?
As a pet owner, I understand the anxiety that may be caused trying to find the right person to care for your pets and your home when travel/illness calls you away. Not to mention the expensive costs of doggie daycare & boarding facilities, the risks of diseases such as kennel cough, and the loneliness that pets often experience being away from familiar surroundings or left alone for extended periods during the day. Especially if you have an aggressive/anxious dog or shy pet, you know how difficult it is to find any place that will accept your pet or make it feel warm and comfortable. That's why I only provide services in your home - so your pets stay where they are the happiest! I have experience with ALL types of pets - dogs, cats, birds, rodents, chickens, sheep, goats, etc..... I am especially fond of working with aggressive, shy or senior animals and I can administer medications and provide mobility assistance. I also make sure your home is safe, secure and clean when you return. Mail, garbage and plant watering services provided free of charge.

Melanie was awesome. She had to show up twice a day for 7 days to take care of my seven birds. I had complete peace of mind with everything! I love how she checked in every time and then in between if she had any questions or concerns. Made my vacation stress-free! Schedule
Pet care has been my full-time business for 16 years, so I am available from a.m. to p.m. I can provide services at times that fit your needs. Overnight stays should be booked 2-3 months ahead in order to get the dates that meet your needs.

I follow all directions left by the owners, administer meds if necessary, provide playtime - outside for dogs and inside for cats. And always lots of TLC. I also like to leave music on for the drop-in visits as it often makes them more relaxed than a quiet home.

A typical day
My schedule is flexible so I will do my best to to make sure all of your pet's needs are met, whether it be through exercise/playtime, reinforcement of training, or cuddling on the couch. Walks through the neighborhood or trips to the beach/hiking trails are always provided, including trips in the c-a-r (for those dogs that can spell). Kitties, birds and other pets also get lots of quality time and attention -I might teach your bird a new song or two :)
