Hi there! I’m Melanie, a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT). Caring for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, and my very first job was at a dog kennel. That experience opened the door to working in an animal hospital, where I realized veterinary medicine was exactly where I belonged. I went on to earn my diploma as a Veterinary Technologist and have since worked in several small-animal clinics as well as emergency hospitals. I’ve cared for animals of every size and temperament, and I’ve built strong technical skills through hands-on work in anesthesia, surgery, patient care, and fast-paced emergency situations. I have a genuine passion for animal care and the expertise to support pets with both basic and advanced needs. Whether your pet requires medication administration, injections, subcutaneous fluids, or just a loving and attentive companion, I’m here to help. Your pet’s comfort and well-being will always be my top priority.

Melanie has been great with my 2 dogs. They are always excited to see her and she takes such great care of them. She has always been on time and communicates any information I should know of very clearly. I feel very reassured knowing that she has worked as an RVT in the past. I would highly recommend her!!
Mel was awesome at taking care of our dog Stella while we were gone. She was on time, sent us updates and Stella had the best time. We were extra grateful that she has vet tech experience as our dog had some dietary restrictions and medication. Stella can't wait for Mel to come visit again!
