Animal Lover to the Core
I have had dogs (and a few cats) since I was a little kid. I absolutely love animals. I have done a lot of rescue work and am an advocate for animal welfare. I have taken care of senior animals. That time always comes, so I've learned how to make senior dogs comfortable and happy. My goal is for all animals to be treated with compassion and respect.

I love being with animals, so I'll spend as much time with yours as you want me to (within reason). I have learned how to care for animals who were formerly abused and neglected, helping them learn to trust again. I currently have 2 kids, a husband, and our sweet dog, Roxy.

Melanie helped us watch our pup for a last minute trip. Our pup was recently rescued and was a bit anxious and Melanie did such a great job taking care of him.

Melanie did a great job meeting up with my 2 dogs for the first time (a couple weeks after our meet-and-greet). She said my big guy, Jaxx, just barked at her the whole time which is his M.O. (and he has a BIG bark) but with treats and pets, I'm sure she won him over.
Melanie took very good care of our dogs for a weekend and was easy to reach when I had a question about a package delivery I was receiving. I will definitely use her again. Thank you, from Gracie, Emmy and Aspen!

Schedule
I am a history professor at Vol State Community College and I used to be a co-owner of The Wild Cow Vegetarian Restaurant. My schedule is very flexible. I only have to go to campus 2 days per week.
