She takes the time to work with puppies on common commands and even incorporates sign language training, which is just amazing. Melanie is such an animal lover! We are neighbors, so I’ve been lucky to have her care for our kitties many times over the years when we leave town. She does a wonderful job and really cares about making sure they have everything they need. She also has the cutest pup of her own, Reba, who we love. She’s very communicative and always happy to send updates and photos :).
Melanie watched our 10-week-old black Lab puppy Cooper and did an absolutely wonderful job. Caring for a young puppy is no small task, and she handled it with patience and love. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently have extra time to help care for dogs in need of walking, sitting and boarding. I like taking my dog to the dog park a few times a week as part of our routine.

A typical day
I have experience with training different commands and using ASL. Ex: Stay, Come, Sit, Lay, Up, Down, Wait Walks, fetching, tug-o-war, cuddle time and scratches!
