I am working part-time and volunteering at Felines and Friends, so have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. We can work out what visit time works best when we have our Meet and Greet, but I prefer morning and afternoons up until 6:00 p.m. if possible.

I love playing with and taking care of animals. I moved to Santa Fe in May 2025, so am still learning about my favorite places for dog walks, but I love exploring new neighborhoods and taking dogs to parks.

Pet care experience
I've had cats and dogs my whole life, and have been a volunteer at an animal shelter for over nine years. I love animals and taking care of them and am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I am also certified in Cat Training and Behavior. I really listen to what the pet owner wants, take thorough notes at our Meet and Greet, and have very strong customer service skills. Melanie did a great job with Olive! She communicated with me daily while I was on a trip and she was consistent with her arrival times. I think Olive did great while I was away and I will definitely ask melanie to watch/ walk her again.
Melanie was great with my kitties! She asked lots of questions during the meet and greet and followed up when she needed more info. She was able to get my shy girl to open up and come out from under the bed. Will definitely ask her to look after my cats again!
Melanie did a great job cat sitting our two cats! She is extremely responsible, giving thorough updates about the cats and the house, and without being asked, went out of her way to move some boxes when our garage got wet from a downpour. Both kitties were healthy and happy when we got home.
Always excellent care and play for my girl!
