I’ve always had a deep love for animals and understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine. Whether it’s providing fresh food and water, cleaning litter boxes, going for walks, playing, administering basic care, or simply being a pet’s safe space while their favorite safe space is away. I have experience with both cats and dogs, and am comfortable around dogs of all sizes and breeds! I am patient, dependable, and caring. I always follow owners’ instructions and carefully maintain a pet’s normal routine. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving loving, reliable care until you’re home again!

We needed a last minute sitter for three drop-in visits. Melanie was very responsive and made setting up a quick meet and greet easy. She followed all of our instructions and took great care of Parker. He can be pretty crazy meeting someone new and she did a wonderful job of calming him down and making it a great visit.
My pets love Melanie! I had to go out of town for a week and she followed the schedule we had laid out to a T. No steps missed, everything I asked for was taken care of like it was for her own animals.
I’ve trusted Mel with my dog for a couple of years, and I can’t recommend her enough. She is the kind of sitter who sends photo updates without being asked, and remembers each pets quirks and feeding schedule down to the last detail, and treats the animals like her own. My dog can be standoffish with strangers, but warmed up to Mel immediately- that alone tells you everything about how patient and attentive she is. I’ve come home to a spotless space, and a happy pet ever time. If you want someone reliable and caring Mel is the one to call.
