To ensure the safety of my client’s pets, I will always follow instruction to the letter. If your pet requires extra care or attention to keep them safe, I will never cut corners or leave in a rush. In so many cases, pets are like children, and I treat them with the same respect and attention a child would receive.

During a meet and greet, the questions I always ask are: does your pet take medications? Is your pet allowed treats, and amount of treats? Do they have a favorite toy? Are they reactive? Do they have recall training and know commands? Just getting to know more about the pets personality and needs and how I can best support them
A typical day
I usually play my visits by ear, allowing the pet to set the tone for the visit. If your dog is sniffer and wants to enjoy their walk at a leisurely pace, I will give them that time. If your dog wants to high-tail it and knock out a mile or two, I’m right behind them. I am also a Chuck-it fetch aficionado and cuddler extraordinaire

Hi there!! My name is Melanie and I owned a pet care and dog walking service in South Florida before relocating to Hiram, Georgia in 2023. There is no greater honor than being given the opportunity to care for your furry family members. I have watched dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, birds, and am open to all different sorts of pets. I absolutely love dogs and cats, and caring for them is something I truly am passionate about. Your pets become my family, and I will always have their best interest at heart and keep an open line of communication with you. I am reliable, and try to make myself available for last minute requests, available for one-time or continuous services, and promise to deliver tail-wagging service. I am not available for boarding animals in my home, and I am not available for overnight stays at your home. Melanie is so sweet and good with our fur babies! We have three that can be a bit needy, and she is great with catering to each of them. She is very trustworthy, organized and loves animals! She has helped us a lot with transitioning to life with a puppy again. 10/10!
Melanie went above and beyond for my dog, Bo. She cared for him as if he were her own pet. When my flight got postponed and I knew I’d be getting home a day later, she didn’t hesitate to offer to take care of Bo longer. Very grateful for people like Melanie!
