I love pets of all kinds but have a special place in my heart for dogs. I believe there are no “bad” dogs, just dogs with different physical, mental, and emotional needs, and it’s our job to meet them where they’re at. Dogs that require a little more TLC are my specialty, whether it be a senior, reactive, shelter pups, fosters- they deserve our utmost care and respect. I offer long and short term care, walking, transportation, enrichment and just plain old play time. I especially love going on walks with dogs and the special time you get to spend with them during what is often their favorite part of the day. I used to think I wasn’t a cat person, but then every cat I meet, I love, so I’ve succumbed. I give cats enough space and autonomy which I like to think they appreciate 🤣

I do not currently have other pets in the home- my work in pet care is driven by the love of my late pup, Bree and everything I learned from her 🤍 I have the time and expertise if your pet needs longer walks or has specific needs that require attention to detail and patience. I’m fine coming to clients homes to watch pets as well. I have a large fenced yard and the neighborhood is also very dog friendly.

I would give Melanie 10 stars if I could! She stepped in for us at very short notice, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Melanie is a solid 10/10, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!
Melanie is amazing! She cared for our high-energy lab as if he was her own. He got off leash walks & swims every day, snuggles, and great care. She even washed the sheets & towels she used! Amazing. Her communication & pictures are top tear. We recommend her to everyone we know.
If I could give 10 stars I would!! Sooo grateful we found Melanie - she was super attentive with our pups, made sure to give us thorough updates every day and left the house cleaner than it was when we left. As a semi-anxious dog mom, never once did I worry that our dogs were in good care while we were away. She is the BEST!!!
She’s simply the best, most thoughtful and consistent dog walker / sitter you could ever ask for.
Melanie was such a wonderful caretaker for our pup and house. She was very communicative and sent multiple updates and photos over the course of the weekend. We will definitely use her again!
Melanie even went above and beyond and brought in my water machine and water jugs! I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful woman!

Schedule
I’m currently doing rover full time, so my days and weeks are structured around pet care. I do work with a few folks and their pets outside of rover, but my calendar availability in the app is mostly up to date, with the exception of the few off-app clients, so please message to confirm availability.
