I have good availability for pet sitting and dog walking, generally, and work PT with a flexible massage therapy schedule. Sometimes i work a few massage clients if the situation permits, sometimes not depending.

Unfortunately cannot take pets into my own home, but I love fitting into your home and find it easy to enjoy myself as if it were my own. Home feels like home and so it puts me at great ease. I stay full time, drop in, and do everything with your dog that you would with a special touch of my own. Animals love me and I love them.

I honestly love working with all dogs. Especially ones who may be afraid at first, and require listening and intuition to help build a bridge with. If a dog has any fears, behaviours around other dogs, etc
Ein typischer Tag
Typical day... warm morning connect. Lazy moments, turning into belly or head rubs, eye contact, lots of eye contact, chat, and outside!!! To the park, bringing the fetch it ball, running together, playing tug, joining in with other dogs, walking around our favorite side streets, hitting the beach, singing, sniffing, bending down to connect at their level, agility? Splashing, sometimes the ocean. Cuddling, massage, deep breathing, tuning into the spot's and building more and more love and trust. Being grateful and loving the present moment, the fresh air and the best job ever.

Hello :) So I’m that person who’s day is made, vacation put right, and healing to begin when I’m around animals and creatures. When people ask me what was my favourite part about living and working in NZ, I have to say my animal friends...horses, cows, birds, cats and dogs. I support them and myself from the heart, with lots of chat and soulful communication. I am a musical person and love to sing talk, as well as a registered massage therapist who’s goal in life is to own a horse, and a small family of various animals. I am great with both human and animal massage, and treated my first dog - a palliative gift from Mexico, who afterwards could not believe his eyes, or his body to feel so good. I’ve owned both cats and dogs over the years and unfortunately am unable to have one of my own, but I will....We are truly lucky to have these mirrors to our soul. So please choose me, as I would truly love to come. I’m great with it all!! I love walks, quiet connection, talking, enthusiasm, play and sharing. I am also an empath and work really well with fear or aggression, mystery behaviours and weird things 💚 Unfortunately not able to offer in home visits at the moment, but I am grateful to share and experience your home as my own and feel the sense of family that you bring. I have sit for over 40 clients in their home and am so excited to make more homes away from home 💖

Melanie was amazing! Punctual, took our dog on some great walks and sent lots of photo of our happy pup. We would not hesitate to hire her again for our dog walking needs.
Melanie was the first sitter we have left our complicated lovely pup with for quite a long time, and she won him over amazingly well. She was very calm with him and listened to all the odd details I needed to tell her about how to manage him. She is now in our books as one of his “people.” We will continue to ask Melanie to house sit and dog walk for us as long as she is around Victoria.
From the get go we were comformatble leaving Lucy in Melanie's hands. We would use her service again in the future.
Melanie always goes the extra mile and genuinely enjoys hanging out with your pupper! I always feel confident asking her to pet sit, and I know my dog has a great time with her.
