I’ve cared for animals my entire life and treat every pet like family. I have two shih tzu dogs of my own, help and currently live with my parents’ maltipoo dog, and grew up with family cat for 15 years. I’m experienced in puppy training, senior dog care, and supporting pets with anxiety and special needs. I have developed patients and extra skills while helping my own anxious pup thrive. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority.

In the pet owners homes, I follow each pet’s routine to make them feel comfortable and happy such as feeding, walking, playing, and giving lots of attention an love. I’ve stayed overnight to provide steady care and keep pets comfortable in their own space and did check ins and walks as well. I treat every animal as if they were my own, keep their area clean, and make sure their schedule stays consistent. I also send regular photo updates and love staying in touch, so you’ll always know how your furry friend is doing! :)

I had a 4 month puppy Mochi at the time and needed someone to watch her while I had a last minute family emergency. Melanie stepped in and was able to watch her. She fed mochi, she couldn't walk her because she didn't have her shots but played with her and helped train her to potty. Melanie even taught her to shake! I always use Melanie if she is available and I need someone to watch my dog.
Melanie watched my little pitbull snowy for a weekend and did an amazing job. You can tell how much she loves animals and snowy loved her alot. It really eased my mind that he was in good hands and I didn't have to worry while I was away. Melanie was also sending me updates and photos of snowy and I really appreciated that! She is a great dog sitter and I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule right now due to school and finishing my counseling program. I can work around your schedule if I know the needed time ahead of time :) I usually work my side job in the evening or some sundays but again I am flexible and can move things around x
