Love all animals
I have worked as a veterinary assistant for 15 years, both large and small animals. I have volunteered at animal shelters when I can. I have personally owned small dogs from 5 lbs, all the way up to large dogs up to 210lbs, cattle, horses, chickens, goats, pigs, geckos and Im sure I'm missing others. I am not afraid of any animal, I respect all walks. I have rescued and rehabed dogs and kittens. I enjoy pets so being able to meet new breeds and crosses is always something I have enjoyed. I also know how difficult it is to sometimes give your pets attention, so I'd like to offer my time to help others keep their kids happy and healthy. My Chihuahua had congestive heart failure so her medicine was very important to be given in a timely matter and I am able to handle medications. I enjoy training dogs, as well as horses. I find it rewarding to watch their minds grow. I am available as needed and I am able to make multiple visits within a day if needed. If a pet needed medication at certain times or fed, I would adjust my routine for the pet. I have my pets on a routine. I know how important it is to some of them to be fed at certain times or to go out. I care for the pets as if they were my own, and I understand that no two animals are alike in the care that they need or want. I try and make the animals not miss their owners too much. My large fenced in yard makes it a great place for dogs to stretch out and play.

Melana helped us last minute so that we could enjoy a jeep excursion here in Hot Springs. Rather than have our dog bounce around in the back of the jeep, she was able to run around and play with Melana and her pups. Melana sent several pictures / videos throughout the day and made us feel very at ease. Would 100% book with her again!

I really don't know where to start. 1. Great propety 2. She is such an animal person 3. One of our pups was having an issue and she just stayed in contact all day to update us and offer insight. Thank you. If you need your pups watched, I highly recommend.
Perfect boarding experience with Melana who really did go above and beyond what I was expecting. Great communication with a warm and friendly personality. She used an AI app to create a great Christmas photo of my Schnauzer who had a great visit playing with a Corgi. Highest marks, totally recommend and looking forward to my next booking with my favorite boarder.

Schedule
I am at home most of the time unless I am out running errands. Dogs are never left alone for very long as I am devoted to the pets care while they're with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in yard where your pets can play on their own or play with mine. They can sun bathe or fly around in a good game of chase, or I want that toy. If your dog needs alone time I have spare bedrooms where they can nap if need be. I read each dog as no two are the same.
Pets
A typical day
Depending on the pet I can do hikes that are 8 miles. I can take them swimming or just play fetch in the yard, tug of war, or belly rubs and snuggles. My dogs enjoy the trails out at Lake Catherine or visits to Atwoods or Petsmart. I'll also do drives and stop for pup cups if that is something they enjoy.
