I recently retired from the Department of Education and have plenty of time on my hands. Would love to do more with animals now that my time has freed up.

I only offer in home care as I am not allowed to have pets at my own place. Preferably, I would like to remain outside of the home when coming to pick up your baby but it is not necessary.

I do really love big dogs but have had a variety of animals to sit. Mostly small dogs have been most recent. I am also open to other types of animals if needed.
A typical day
I love dog walking and allowing dogs to just explore around. If your dog likes to play fetch, I love tossing the ball for them.

I started off at a large animal vet hospital as a teen and since then I have taken care of coworkers' and friends dogs, even my chiropractor.

I have known Melissa for 12 years now and there is no one else I would trust as much with my pets or my home. She is trustworthy and kind and follows instructions to the letter. She has loved my animals as if they were her own and when we have been traveling, she is the only person I would trust to stay in my house and take care of everything. When I had a 130lb German Shepherd, he loved her so much he would act like a puppy when she came around - he adored her! Now I have a 9lb black kitten who is a little more independent but still trusts and loves her and will seek her out when she is around. I can't say enough about Melissa - she is incredibly special to me and to my family and mainly, to my fur-babies.
