I mastered training dogs and then picked up grooming, nail trimming, while at a kennel. I take my time with all of my clients to provide the safest service possible. I started in a Vet Clinic under a professional groomer after completing my dog training internship back in 2015. Now I combine both professions to best serve the community. I am by trade a Professional Dog Trainer who provides basic problem solving up to advanced show work with the AKC and skill service work. I moved away from my clients back home so I have a very open schedule here! I work from home, do not mind working late, or working in random nail trims for $20. I also offer discounts to families who have adopted from a shelter, bring in your papers that show your adoption date within 60 days. Become a part of 'Mel's Dog Club' through my website! www. melsdogclub .com The environment is so important for the safety of the canines, which is why I have a fully enclosed training yard as well as a private backyard for poop time. No canine will be left unattended or off-leash while in my care. I utilize any kennel space I may have as well.

Mel is so patient and kind to my dog. She is very knowledgeable with any questions I had about my dog. She gave him special one on one time when my dog wasn’t getting along with the bigger dogs and that just means everything to me ❤️

Mel is the best dog trainer and loves dogs with her whole being. Everything she does in her life, one of her own dogs go with her! She loves to go to dog parks, and will spend hours training a puppy to do drug or bomb sniffing. If you had her as a dog sitter, I know you would come home with an even better dog!
Mel is an amazing dog sitter and a dog bather, I trusted her with my dogs any second of the day. She does amazing job by working with them and taking time with them.
Mel has been so great with my animals! I have two cats and they love her! She treats them great and loves to play with them. She is an amazing trainer and just has the best heart with the animals. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing anything done with their animals!

I am a huge fan of Palmer Park, as well as Red Rock Open Space. I provide water and different toys to stimulate their mind as well. We also keep in mind the temperature of the ground.
