Attention pet owners: we highly recommend your dogs come to us fully vaccinated. We recommend rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus), and Bordetella. In addition to this, we also recommend regular flea treatment as well as deworming. All it takes is one dog coming and spreading something to all the others which has resulted in us closing down for one to two weeks in the past. I think Benjamin Franklin said it best, “ an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Thank you for helping to keep our fur friends safe and healthy! About us: I am a SAHM with a huge love for animals. I have plenty of experience with my own dogs, have helped out friends with theirs over the years, and have had 4 successful years booking through Rover (began summer 2021). Making your pets feel safe and loved is a priority. My husband and I look forward to meeting you and your pets and helping you out when you need it. I am flexible and available! I also have a experience grooming. I groom my own poodles and schnauzer and have helped out customers with basic grooming needs (currently offering bathing and nails offered at extra charge). Just ask and I can see what I can do while your dog is staying with us (affordable pricing). I have a large fenced yard, with an additional fenced area to separate dogs if needed. It is an outside corner lot with extra room to run!! The dogs are allowed to use the pool, so if you have swimmers they will love it here! I also have my own dogs who would love to keep your fur babies company if they want, but we do have ways to separate if needed. We also live next to a park with a great walking trail and are located in a very safe neighborhood. We do have experience watching dogs with special needs. However, if your dog has pre-existing conditions or needs medication administered regularly, please put instructions in writing and have an emergency plan written out in their profile. We don’t mind helping, but want to be prepared to help in the best ways possible.

Absolutely recommend! She helped my dog get more socialized with other dogs and family members so she came out of the two days of doggie daycare and three days of boarding a more balanced dog. She also held our human hands as this was our first time leaving our dog in anyone’s care.
We are first time doggie daycare parents and Mel and her husband held our hand (practically) as they showed us the facility and explained how Bijoux’s day would probably go. They even sent us a picture showing our tiny dog passed out with all the big dogs. They were very patient with us and we appreciate all the prep for us to finally board our dog with them over the weekend. Highly recommend using her (she grooms as well)!
Rosie is like family.
Mel is the absolute best when it comes to pet care. There’s no one my family trusts more in the Valley than her. We’ve been pup residents for over 2 years and have had nothing but the best.
So thankful for Mel always! Our pup has the best time and she is so adaptable to our requests

Harmonogram
I am around fulltime unless marked on my calendar. As a family of 6, there is is usually someone home at all times. We do leave for about 2 hours Sunday mornings for church.

We take the safety of your pet seriously. Our fences are high and our gates stay locked! We feed all dogs separately, and do not share people food. All chemicals are locked away. We do not offer soft or rope toys for playing as some dogs tend to consume them. We do offer antlers, bones, and super-chewer toys to gnaw away at. Our kitchen is gated as well as our sleeping area so no dogs can sneak into areas and get into things. We keep making improvements as we see the need.

We usually start our day around 7am in the hot months to get a few hours of play in before taking a little break inside. I have a doggie doors that makes going in and out hassle free for everyone. In the summer we go swimming with the dogs in the afternoon. I do offer swimming lessons for free to your dog. It is great for their confidence! Lots of potty breaks and water during the day and never too dull around here. They always sleep very well at night.
