Animal Lover Excited to Help Out!
I have taken care of pets for 5 years now! I took a little break in 2025 to focus on work, but I’m excited to get back into working with your pets! I have walked, pet sit, and tended to dogs of all sizes and ages. Most notably, I took care of my neighbor's two large, elderly dogs for about a year. I gave them as much time as they needed on their walks and let them tell me what kind of energy they had for the day. I have also cared for and walked chiweenies (chihuahua/dachshund), bernedoodles, and everything in between. Additionally, I own two of my own cats and cat sit for friends and neighbors on occasion!

Mel was super friendly with us and our dog, Roxie. She was highly communicative and made us feel comfortable with leaving our dog with her! I highly recommend!
Mel is a FANTASTIC pet sitter. Mel made accommodations to host my cat Nala at their place while I was away and Nala had such a great time at Mel’s that she didn’t want to come! Mel kept in touch regularly during the week and sent lots of photo updates of all of Nala’s silliness. 10/10 would have Mel care for my spicy lady again and again!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Mel to care for pets. She has taken care of our two dogs and three cats on several occasions, and always sends us lots of photos. She is able to handle walking both dogs together (they are big dogs - both are lab mixes) with no issues. All of our fur babies love Mel!
