Play All Day with Mel
I grew up with my two dogs and I love to work with animals. I have worked with reptiles and amphibians at my college, worked at a zoo this past summer, and have fostered kittens from Humane Societies. I had a regular dog I cared for, but he has passed away from old age.

When animals are in my care I like to spoil them: walks, rides, play/socialize, get them puppuccinos, and photograph their fun times. I will never do something an owner is not comfortable with. I will respect house rules, and I understand that spoiling well trained dogs can lead to bad habits. Feel free to give me restrictions on certain behaviors-- I will not be offended! I like to make sure the animals I take care of are comfortable with my presence and enjoy my company. I am familiar with putting dogs in their respectable crates and feeding medications. If there is something I am unfamiliar with, I am willing to learn your ways so I can provide excellent care. I do not do care for animals at my home because I have a small, 12 lb dog, who is nervous and territorial around other dogs. To prevent any injuries or uneasiness I prefer to take care of animals in the owner's home.

Mel was beyond great. With all the snow and cold she still exercised with the dogs every day. She house sat for us as well and we couldn’t have been happier. She was responsible, great with our dogs, and very easy to talk to and communicate with. We would give her 10 stars if we could. It is always scary to let a stranger in your home. She is no longer and never was a stranger. Highly recommended.
She was without a doubt the best dog sitter I have ever experienced. She was incredibly reliable and kept me updated about any issues, concerns etc. while I was gone. But even more than the practicalities, she loved my dog and treated him like a king, so much that sometimes I think he might have been looking forward to those times I was leaving town :). Highly recommend

Schedule
I just recently graduated from college and in between employment. Employment for me will start in April, so I have plenty of time on my hands and very flexible with my time!
