Animals have always been at the heart of my daily routine. Whether I’m caring for a client’s dog, checking in on a cat, or grooming horses at the barn, pet care is more than a job — it’s a lifestyle I truly love. I plan my schedule with pets in mind, making sure each one gets the time and care they need — whether that’s a midday walk, a feeding routine, or some extra playtime. Caring for animals isn’t just something I fit in — it’s something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize in everything I do.

Safety, trust & environment
When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Whether your dog loves belly rubs and fetch, or prefers quiet snuggles and routine, I make sure they feel relaxed, secure, and right at home. I follow your pet’s schedule closely — including feeding times, medication, potty breaks, and walks — and I’m experienced with special diets, senior care, and administering medications. My home is pet-friendly, with plenty of space to play, cozy spots for napping, and a clean, supervised environment. I limit the number of pets I board at once to ensure everyone gets plenty of one-on-one attention, and I send regular photo updates so you can stay connected while you’re away.

Information Meigs R. would like to know about your pet
I always like to know a few key things to make sure I can give them the best possible care: • Daily routine – feeding schedule, potty breaks, walk times, and bedtime habits • Medical needs – any medications, allergies, or health conditions I should be aware of • Behavioral quirks – are they shy, anxious, reactive to other dogs, or afraid of storms? • Training and commands – what words or cues do they respond to, and what are the house rules? • Likes & dislikes – favorite toys, treats, or activities, and anything they don’t enjoy I also appreciate knowing how they typically behave around other animals, kids, or strangers. My goal is to make their time with me feel like a home-away-from-home, so the more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor their care to fit their personality and needs.
A typical day
I love making each pet’s stay fun, active, and full of enrichment! I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level — whether that means long walks, play sessions, or quiet cuddle time. For dogs who love adventure, we’ll go on neighborhood walks, nature strolls, or play fetch in the yard. I also love using puzzle toys and treat games. High-energy pups get plenty of playtime and stimulation, while older or shy pets get a calm, cozy environment where they can relax at their own pace. If your pet has favorite toys, routines, or quirks, I’m happy to include them — my goal is to make them feel as happy and comfortable as they do at home!

Reviews
Meigs is one of the most caring and observant dogs sitters. She goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are happy, exercises, fed and loved. Our dogs are always so happy to see her. She’s always the first one we call and feel lucky when she’s available.
