Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I already structure my days around caring for my own cat, so feeding times, playtime, cleaning, and check-ins are things I’m used to and consistent with. Adding pet sitting into my routine feels easy and intentional rather than rushed. I’m someone who plans ahead and values routine, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins are done on time, and I’m always mindful of each pet’s specific needs and energy levels. I enjoy spending quality time with animals, so caring for them never feels like a chore. Because I genuinely enjoy being around pets, I’m happy to build my schedule around them and give them the attention and care they deserve throughout the day.

Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress free for them. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, respect the space, and make sure pets stay in their usual environment whenever possible. I keep doors and windows secure, ensure food and water areas are clean, and make sure pets are always supervised appropriately. I pay close attention to behavior changes and will always communicate updates or concerns right away. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, clean, and safe space. I make sure the environment is pet friendly, free of hazards, and suited to their comfort level. Because I have a cat, I am very mindful of slow introductions and only accept pets that are a good fit to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. I believe trust is built through consistency, clear communication, and genuine care. I treat every pet and home with the same respect I would want for my own, making sure pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for at all times.

Knowing what makes a pet happy or nervous really helps me care for them in a way that feels familiar. I also like to know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, or special care instructions. Understanding their temperament, energy level, and how they interact with people or other animals is very important to me as well. For dogs, I appreciate knowing leash manners, training cues they respond to, and how they behave around other dogs. For cats, I like to know how social they are, what kind of play they enjoy, and any boundaries they prefer. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can create a calm, positive experience and give your pet the best possible care while you’re away.

A typical day with the pets I watch is all about routine, comfort, and fun. I start the day with feeding and making sure everyone is settled and comfortable. For dogs, this usually includes walks, outdoor time, and play based on their energy level. I enjoy giving dogs time to explore, move, and burn energy while keeping things safe and relaxed. Throughout the day, I make time for play, attention, and companionship. This can include games, gentle training reinforcement, cuddles, or quiet time, depending on what your pet enjoys most. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and adjusting activities to match their needs. For cats, fun activities might include interactive play with toys, enrichment activities, brushing if they enjoy it, or simply sitting nearby and giving them calm company. I respect their boundaries and let them come to me on their own terms. I also include plenty of check-ins, refresh food and water, clean litter boxes or pick up after walks, and make sure pets feel relaxed and cared for throughout the day. My goal is always to keep pets happy, stimulated, and comfortable while making their day feel as normal and enjoyable as possible.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits, and being around animals has always felt natural to me. While I’ve had experience with many different pets, dogs and cats truly have my heart. I’ve had dogs in the past and absolutely loved the companionship, routine, and joy they bring. Right now, I don’t have a dog because I have a cat at home, which makes me even more excited to care for other people’s dogs and give them the love, attention, and time they deserve. I genuinely miss having a dog around, so taking care of someone else’s feels like such a joy rather than a task. As a current cat parent, I deeply understand how important routine, patience, and trust are. I know how to read body language, respect boundaries, and move at a pet’s pace. Whether it’s an energetic dog who needs playtime and walks or a calm cat who just wants quiet company, I adjust my care to each animal’s personality. What sets me apart from other sitters is how personally I take my role. I don’t see pet sitting as just feeding and walking. I see it as building trust and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m gentle, attentive, and very observant, especially with shy pets, senior pets, or animals who need extra reassurance. I may not be a professional trainer, but I’m very patient and consistent, which helps with puppies learning routines and senior pets who need calm, gentle care. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own, and I care just as much about their emotional comfort as their physical needs. Your pet’s happiness and safety always come first with me, and I would be honored to be someone you trust with a member of your family.

Meidi is very caring when it comes to animals. He took care of my friend’s cat. He fed the cat and took care of her well. Took her to the clinic and walk. He has knowledge about animals and also educated my friend about how to take better care of the cat. She has been following what he suggested and the cat is very healthy. Meidi did an amazing job taking care of my dog and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to trust. He’s super attentive, really knowledgeable about cats and dogs, and genuinely cares about their comfort and well-being. He made sure my dog stuck to his routine, got plenty of exercise, and was always happy and taken care of. On top of that, Meidi is one of the most kind and empathetic people I know, and that really shows in how he treats animals. I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands, and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible and loving pet caregiver.
Meidi is great with animals, he's always had animals around him since he was a child at the age of 5, he's always enjoyed taking care of his pets whether thag was a fish, bunny, dog, cats, and even birds. He loves any animals that comes his way and all animals I've seen loves him as well!!
