Dog Training Camp, the AVBM Veterinary Behavior Master Course, and 33 classes on senior pet care. I’m patient, calm, and experienced with shy pets, basic training, and positive reinforcement.

I highly recommend Mei Chen (Merry) for pet care! She is excellent with dogs and extremely patient, and knows just how to comfort them. Merry lives a block away from my house. I'd often see her in the park with her own dog, and it was clear how well she cared for her pet. When we need to go away overnight, I hired her to come over to my house two times a day to walk and feed my dog. I could see on my home camera how much attention and love she gave my dog. I felt incredibly comfortable leaving my dog in her care.
I have known Mei (Merry) for many years, and she has always been a caring and responsible person. She treats her own dog, Toby, like family and provides him with daily training, exercise, and health routines. I’ve also seen her care for other dogs, and they are naturally drawn to her because of her patience, gentleness, and attentiveness. Mei is an awesome caregiver to all pets. our dogs love seeing her and her dog when we meet in the neighborhood. she is super friendly and is always watching out for other pets and their wellbeing in the neighborhood. she ensures that the animals get along and is mindful of the temperament of the pets she is with. we trust her with our own dogs as if she were family when needed.

Schedule
I’m currently changing my career path, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets. I’m available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after 3pm, and on all other days after 11am for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and boarding. For other times or special services, I’m happy to discuss and accommodate when possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, loving, and clean environment for pets. When caring for them in your home, I follow all instructions closely and keep pets comfortable. I can administer medication, monitor health, and ensure they feel secure. At my own home, I live in a beautiful community with plenty of grassy areas perfect for walks. There’s also a dog park right across the street, where dogs can stretch their legs, enjoy the fresh air, and get some fun exercise in a spacious, safe environment.

A typical day
With the pets I watch, I’ll keep them entertained with fun activities like fetch, tug-of-war, or puzzle toys. I also enjoy practicing simple training cues to keep their minds active while they get exercise and attention.
