I am new to Rover but have been doing pet care for over three years on TrustedHouseSitter. I can send you my profile there if you need to see my many five star reviews there. I work in theater and film, which takes me around the world and does not allow me to have my own pets. So pet sitting has become my thing as it gives me so much good energy. I have been inspired by pets so much that I have done a play and a short film about them already. I started by taking care of friends' pets over the years, and particularly two neighbors who traveled often while I cared for their cats. When I was introduced by a friend to do pet sitting through Trusted House Sitter, I jumped on the opportunity and have done 18 sits over the past years in the US and Europe. I am adding Rover so that I can have another platform for this. If your dogs need longer than 15 minutes of walking, I also charge an additional walk. So just tell me in your message how long of a walk they need.

I spend some time getting to know the pet and what they enjoy. I like to spend some time playing with them as it feels like meditation for me, taking my mind off of my daily work and feels like pure enjoyment. Since I have done pet sitting for some time, I get a sense of each pet pretty quickly, respect what they like and don’t and let them come to me. I follow the instruction for their food and medication and try to be friends with them. Pets usually trust me and like to come sit with me. If they don’t, I never push it.

I have nothing but good things to say about Mehrnoush. She was professional, on time, and great with my three pets. I have two cats and a dog. From the moment she walked in, it was clear that animals just love her. My cats are not easy with everyone, but they gravitated to her right away to my surprise. She sent many videos and photos that reassured me that everything was well at the apartment and the pets were getting the much needed care. My dog takes daily medication and she was very careful with it and made sure she takes her pills. I highly recommend her.
Another great experience here. It was a pleasure for me to welcome Mehrnoush at my home in Berlin and to entrust them my beloved cat Mia and my dog Allie. Mehrnoush is very kind and we had a clear and reliable communication right from the beginning. She took very good care for Mia and Allie and sent me regularly updates so I could really feel relaxed while I was away. We had such an interesting conversation with Mehrnoush about art and her films. Mia and Allie were happy and relaxed. And my apartment was clean and tidy. I can only recommend Mehrnoush as excellent pet sitter.
Mehrnoush is a wonderful sitter and took great care of Loki. She was attentive to Loki's behavior and was quick to ask questions to ensure he was as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend Mehrnoush to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.
Mehrnoush was my dog sitter in New York for six days. I was new to Trusted House Sitter, and the experience with her helped me trust the application. I could not ask for a better sitter. She took the dog for the daily walks to the dog park, and sent me pictures and videos. She administered the medication and played with him. I came home to a happy dog. I always let her know first if I need a sit, because I know my dog is in good hands and I will return to a home that is cleaner than I left it. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am a writer and a lot of my time is spent at home behind my computer. So if I take care of your pet, I wont’ be out all that long during the day. but I do like to take walks around the neighborhood.
