In my home, your pet will have plenty of space to play and relax. I have a fully fenced-in yard, giving dogs a safe and open area to explore. I make sure all dogs get regular potty breaks, exercise, and lots of attention, and I keep a calm, comfortable environment so they can settle in easily. If you book a walk or drop-in, I will focus on keeping your pet’s routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routes, medication needs, and any special preferences your pet has. I always make sure they get quality one-on-one time, whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or extra reassurance for pets who may be shy or anxious.

We have lots of toys and a very big yard for lots of play time! My own dog is very playful and friendly, so your pup will have a built-in companion if they enjoy social time.

Pet care experience
Your pet’s next favorite getaway might just be my 1-acre farm! I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds and now share my fully fenced property with pigs, sheep, chickens, and my friendly dog, Hoku. Visiting pups have plenty of space to explore and play, with livestock areas securely separated. I only board one dog at a time, so your pup gets plenty of attention and care. I’m also available daily for walks and drop-in visits. With experience fostering through the Humane Society and caring for many pets, I tailor my care to each dog’s unique personality, always with lots of love, playtime, and belly rubs.

Mehana was awesome! She took great care of our puppy and kept us updated the whole time, which we really appreciated. Our pup clearly loved her and was super happy and relaxed when we got back.
Mehana took such incredible care of my elderly dog, Koa, while I was away for three days getting married. Leaving him can be stressful, especially with his extra needs, but she made the entire experience worry-free. She kept me updated with pictures and regular messages, which meant so much. I always knew how he was doing, especially during times when he was having trouble eating. Mehana was also able to administer his medication without any issues, which gave me so much peace of mind. What really stood out is how she made Koa feel like part of her family. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and that level of attention and kindness is priceless. I’m so grateful for her responsiveness, communication, and the love she showed my dog. Mahalo, Mehana!

Mehana did great with our big boy Kava. She weathered the rain and got his walks in under less than ideal conditions! Looking forward to booking her again in the future. Great communication & great with my dog!
