Safety, trust & environment
I always watch doors and windows carefully so my cat doesn’t escape, and I’ve installed a net on the balcony so he can enjoy the outdoors safely. I also have an automatic feeder with a camera and microphone, so I can check in and interact with him even when I’m out. I bring the same care and attention when looking after pets in clients’ homes.
Information Megumi N. would like to know about your pet
For me, it’s very important to know if a pet has any allergies, health conditions, or stress triggers. Every animal is unique, and by understanding their needs, I can make sure they’re always safe and comfortable. This helps me plan the right activities, playtime, and care routine—whether that means adjusting exercise, avoiding certain treats, or creating a calmer environment. My goal is always to give pets a fun, loving experience while keeping their wellbeing as the top priority.
A typical day
Pimpim begins the day in his window hammock, people-watching like it’s his favorite show. He often asks for wet food and loyally follows his human everywhere—even on laundry trips to the basement. He loves the balcony breeze, curling up for naps after being brushed and petted (sometimes falling asleep mid-purr). For fun, he enjoys watching cartoons and playing games on the iPad, proving he’s not just curious—he’s clever too. At heart, Pimpim is happiest when he’s close to his human, mixing play, cuddles, and lots of love into every single day.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong, hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals. Growing up, my home was like a mini zoo shelter — we had dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, rats, fish, shrimps, crabs, frogs, turtles, rabbits, and more. Stray or lost pets often appeared at our doorstep, and I cared for them, tended to their wounds, and sometimes even adopted them. I’ve also cared deeply for a dog and a cat with serious, life-threatening illnesses. Knowing their time with me was limited, I loved them even more, cherishing every moment and making sure they were comfortable, happy, and fully cared for. This taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and giving unconditional love. This early experience, combined with my understanding of animals’ unique personalities and needs — from playful pups to shy cats and seniors requiring extra care — allows me to provide truly individualized care. Beyond daily pet sitting, I’ve led initiatives to support animal welfare, such as collecting and distributing donated household items to shelters during COVID. I bring this same dedication, compassion, and attention to detail to every pet I care for, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and truly loved, no matter their age, health, or background.

Reviews
Megu is honestly one of the most caring and responsible people I’ve met when it comes to animals. I recommended her when my cousin couldn’t keep her ferret, Hershey, because I already knew how wonderful Megumi was with her own ferret, Canela. Hershey ended up having the best life with her 💚 He used to be a bit sedentary and overweight, but since moving in with her, he became so much more social, active, and affectionate. Every time we visited, he looked so happy and bonded perfectly with Canela. She would always send us cute photos too, I still love the ones of Hershey wearing tiny Halloween hats! Megumi has also walked my dogs many times, and they’re always so excited to see her. She’s always on time, caring, and happy to play or feed them when needed. You can really tell she loves spending time with animals and treats each one with genuine care and affection. I’ve known her for years and have seen how dedicated she is to every animal she cares for. She’s incredibly reliable, gentle, and thoughtful, and I always have full peace of mind knowing any pet with her will be safe, happy and loved.
Megumi took care of my beloved cat in Peru for almost two years, and I can honestly say she is one of the most dedicated and trustworthy caregivers I have ever met. From the very beginning, she showed a genuine love for animals and a deep sense of responsibility. My cat is naturally very sensitive and has struggled with stress, but Megumi always knew how to handle her with patience, kindness, and the right level of attention. She not only provided basic care, like feeding, cleaning, and playing with her, but also went above and beyond to make sure my cat felt truly comfortable and safe. I remember how attentive she was during my cat’s spay recovery, ensuring she was monitored, medicated, and not feeling alone during that delicate time. Thanks to her dedication, my cat was able to heal peacefully and return to her happy and playful self. What I appreciated the most was Megumi’s reliability. I could always count on her to show up on time, communicate clearly, and keep me updated about how my cat was doing. It gave me peace of mind to know that, even when I was away, my pet was receiving the best care possible. She treated my cat not just as an animal to look after, but as part of the family, with so much affection and respect. Megumi’s love for pets is truly remarkable, and it shows in everything she does. She has a natural ability to connect with animals and make them feel secure, even in stressful situations. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone responsible, caring, and compassionate. Any family or pet who has the chance to be under her care will be very lucky.
Megumi helped me a lot by taking care of my dog, Spike, when I had to go out for a few days. She played with him and fed him. She'd met him before and gets along well with him. Spike is a 12-year-old dog who's a bit grumpy, but she still got along very well with him and was patient during their walks.
Megumi took care of my 2 dogs and 3 cats while I was away. I can say I was very pleased and happy with how she took care of them and I could tell she knew what she was doing. She kept me updated of how everything was going and I could see that they where happy in her surroundings. I highly recommend Megumi to others who want someone reliable and trustworthy who loves animals.
