I’m currently studying for a professional licensing exam, which gives me a flexible schedule and a lot of availability throughout the week. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I already structure my days around walks, outdoor time, and caring for dogs like my own, Sunshine, and my parents’ dog, Bheem. Right now I have the time and energy to be very attentive with walks, drop-ins, or house sits and to make sure dogs get the care and attention they deserve.

A typical day
A typical day is built around keeping your dog happy, comfortable, and engaged. Mornings usually start with a walk and some fresh air, followed by breakfast and a little downtime. Throughout the day, I like to mix in playtime, enrichment (like toys or basic commands), and relaxed time so your dog doesn’t feel overwhelmed. Depending on their energy level, we’ll go on longer walks, play outside, or just hang out and keep each other company. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and consistency with their routine.

Dogs have always been part of my life. Between my dog Sunshine and my parents’ dog Bheem, I’m used to caring for different personalities and energy levels. I’m patient, attentive, and really try to tune into what each dog needs to feel comfortable. Once I meet your dog, they become part of my little clan for life, and I treat them with the same love and care I give my own.

As a first-time puppy parent, I was understandably nervous about being away from him and needing outside care. When I shared my concerns with Megna, I was immediately put at ease by her empathy, kindness, and genuine reassurance. She has a way of making you feel like family—which is rare and so appreciated. I left knowing my pup was in the best possible hands. When I picked him up, it absolutely filled my heart to see how comfortable and happy he was with her. Honestly, he didn’t seem too excited to leave—haha! I may have even teared up a little, but it was out of pure happiness, knowing I made the right choice. If you’re on the fence or trying to choose between caregivers, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend Megna and hope you have as wonderful an experience as I did!
Megna is a total gem! My husband and I were going to a concert and she sat with our baby, Doc! He took to her immediately. He cuddled with her while we were gone.He was happy! She moved out of the area, but if she were here, we would definitely used her again!
I’ve got a pair of medium/large dogs and Megna has been super helpful in both walking them as well as taking care of them overnight. She is thoughtful and they love playing with her. She is always one of my top choices when I need someone to take care of the pups—would recommend.
