What's life without some dog fur?
Pet care experience
I've been dogsitting for family friends and neighbors for about 10 years or so now. I like to think I excel at giving puppies praise and cuddles as well a trying to help work on some of their training. I bring the dogs on at least one walk per visit if they are up for it and love playing fetch or tug of war with them!

Meghan was wonderful with our 2 Boxers and little Kinko! Had some added items for one of our Boxers that came up about a week or so before our trip that she was able to handle as well! Definitely took the worry out of leaving our boys for a few days.
Meghan was great! Took care of things as requested and loved by our Great Dane. We’ll use her again.
Meghan took care of Teddy and made it easy for us to go out of town. Would definitely hire her again.
Meghan watched my 2 boxers for 2 nights in our home. She did fantastic! She sent photos and communicated with me very well. Pru our 2 year old boxer is shy and she did great with her. I would definetly book Meghan again!!

Again I am unable to board at my apartment complex however if you crate your dogs while no one is home, I'm more than happy to make sure they get in their crate before I leave. I am of course more than happy to clean up any accidents but also clean up any poop left outside and dispose of it. If there are rooms you don't want the dogs getting into without someone home I can closet the doors or block off the entry ways before leaving. I am also more than happy to help drive your pets to any family events, outings if you can’t bring them yourselves or just need/want them there for a little bit! This includes weddings, family pictures, parties or other meetings.

I do appreciate being told how dogs are on walks, like whether they pull or not, and most importantly if there are special commands I need to know in order to make sure the dog behaves as well as stays safe. I’d also like to know if the dog has any habits i need to keep an eye out for like jumping fences or digging holes or eating furniture. I would also like to know if this is your pets first time having you go on vacation.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks around their neighborhoods first so they get comfortable with me walking them but if I am walking them more than once I like to go to parks or open spaces if the owner thinks their dog will be okay with it. I sometimes bring pups with me to get my coffee and they can get a little pup cup with me unless their owners tell me about aversions to car rides.

Availability
Currently I do work part time at a grocery store for up to 8 hour shifts that I can work around to accommodate your dog. Also during the school year I work as a crossing guard but that's only for a few hours each day so I am more than able to take care of dogs on between the crossings. If I'm doing a overnight service than the crossing won't even be a issue. My apartment complex unfortunately doesn't allow pets so I can't board any pets overnight but I'm more than happy to pick them up for walks and stuff.
