I’ve been a huge dog lover my entire life and have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 5 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me to check in on, feed, walk, and play with their pets. A few years ago, beginning in 2023, I was very active on Rover with many happy regular clients and excellent reviews. My husband is also a big dog lover, but I will be your dog’s primary sitter. We both work from home, so your pup will get plenty of attention, walks, and love throughout the day. We have three of our own dogs (two Boston Terriers and a Schnauzer/Pug mix) and three kids (ages 7, 10, and 12). Our dogs are very well-socialized and great with children, so we’re comfortable with kid-friendly pups. My mother also lives in our backyard in a mother in law suite with her small, friendly terrier mix who occasionally visits our home. All of our dogs are very friendly, but as with any dogs, it usually takes them just a few minutes (typically under 5 minutes) of proper introductions and sniffing to get comfortable with a new friend. We have a large, securely walled backyard surrounded by a sturdy concrete wall. Our entire block is designed this way (we live one street over from the intercoastal), and the walls were built to also serve as a protective barrier against storm surge. It’s a very safe, private space for dogs to run and play (even for little escape artists 🥰). We’re happy to provide treats (all made in the USA), toys, snuggling on the furniture, and even bed privileges — we love it when dogs feel right at home with us! That said, we’re also happy to follow any specific rules you have about furniture or sleeping arrangements. A couple of important notes for the best match: • We are not able to accept unfixed male dogs as we have had experience in the past with aggressive male dogs who are not neutered. That said, we are open to non-neutered males who we meet in advance and who are not the historically more aggressive breeds. We do now have a male Boston Terrier, who is not currently neutered and is as sweet and passive as can be. • We cannot sit for unfixed females (for obvious reasons)! Our female Boston IS fixed. • Because we have young children, we cannot accommodate dogs with special or restricted diets (our kids occasionally sneak table food despite our best efforts). • We’re very experienced, responsible, and genuinely care about every dog we watch. We’d love to give your pup a safe, fun, and loving home away from home! • We are more than happy and I actually love to send pictures so everyone can see their babies and rest assured and they are having a blast and getting plenty of snuggles and love! ❤️
