We are a dog loving family!
I recently lost my 15 year old rescue dog. My family misses our furry best friend but not ready to get a new one. My husband and I want to continue to teach our girls responsibility for caring for animals. We love petting, snuggling and playing with dogs. Our yard is completely fenced in and your dog is free to roam every inch of it. We live a block from the Farmers Branch Bark Park and can guarantee taking your dog for a walk or playtime at the Bark Park (weather permitting). I do ask to meet before sitting is agreed upon since I do have a 4 and 6 year old. I or my husband will always be present with our children around any dog but I would love to meet prior to make sure your dog is comfortable with children. Our girls are always the kids wanting to pet whatever dog they can when allowed. We can guarantee your dog will receive much love and scratches!

Meghan and Samuel were absolutely incredible with Emmy! I can’t recommend them highly enough. They took such amazing care of her and treated her like part of their own family. What meant even more to us was that they willingly took her in two days before our actual booking because of the winter storm!! That kind of flexibility and kindness is rare. We were able to truly enjoy our trip completely worry free knowing Emmy was being showered with care and love especially from their two sweet little girls. The regular updates and photos were such a gift and gave us so much peace of mind. Meghan and Sam are the absolute best. We’re so grateful for them!
Meghan and Samuel took great care of our dog. He needed to be started on medication right before his booking and they did a great job rolling with his new complication. They loved him for us while we had to be away and we are so appreciative for the care they showed him.
Meghan & Samuel were fantastic! They gave plenty of updates, and I had no concerns throughout Zeke’s stay. Meghan and Sam have two great kids who gave a lot of love and attention to my dog. Zeke was very calm and happy when I picked him up. We look forward to rebooking in the future!
The family was great with Daisy! We enjoyed the updates & pics. The girls seemed to enjoy playing & interacting with our hyper dog. The Rover process was smooth & easy!

Schedule
I currently work part time Monday 8-5 and Thursday 8-1. My husband works from home every Monday and some Thursdays. Thursdays would be the only day that your pet would possibly be alone for 4-5 hrs max.

Dogs are welcome in our home, and our yard is fully fenced for your dog to roam and play at their convenience. Our daughters are 6 and 4 years old and love dogs. We have and continue to teach our girls how to love and give respect to animals. We love to play with dogs and take them for walks. Your pet will be dearly loved in our home.
A typical day
I will feed the dog at the asked specified times. I love getting out in the morning, especially in the summer, for a walk. I can take the dog for a walk around Rawhide Creek path or walk to the Bark Park. Weather permitting, I am usually outside a large part of the day in the back yard where the dog can play with dog toys or simply roam. I am able to keep your dog physically active, or as much as the dog prefers. When inside, your dog can relax and receive much attention and scratches. Near the end of the day, it’s always nice to wind down with a good evening walk. The dog is allowed to sleep inside, please bring a dog bed.
